About Our Lenten Retreat
Our Lenten retreat, themed ‘Duc in Altum – Into the Deep,’ invites you to embark on a spiritual voyage. This retreat is designed to deepen your faith and understanding, encouraging you to explore the vast ocean of God’s love and mercy.We are thrilled to announce that Fr. Scott Brossart, S.O.L.T.,(Society of Our Lady of the Trinity) Priest will be traveling to offer weekend retreat filled with the Holy Spirit and God’s presence.

In addition to the Saturday retreat, we invite you to join Fr. Scott at St. Peter’s Friday night before the retreat, March 14, 2025 at 5:30 for Confession, Mass, Exposition & a beautiful healing service allowing Christ to directly heal you. All ages are welcome.

Duc in Altum - Into the deep: St. Peter's Lenten Retreat
Immerse yourself in a day to set out into the deep, where you can encounter the living Christ through morning Mass with talks and prayer which help us dive deep into our faith and explore the profound mysteries of the ocean of God’s love. A continental breakfast is provided and we break for lunch, which is on your own. In the church, priests are available for reconcilation. Come back to the afternoon session with an invitation to deeper reflection and prayer. We are praying for you to experience the boundless love and mercy of God as we journey together towards spiritual renewal and transformation in our lives. This retreat is open to ages 16 and up.

Retreat Conclusion
Conclude the retreat at 3:30 p.m. with a litany of thanksgiving for blessings received. You are welcome to stay for an additional opportunity for Reconciliation and St. Peter’s Saturday night Mass at 4pm.

Fr. Scott Brossart
Fr. Scott Brossart entered the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in 1993 at the age of 23 after having gone through a major conversion. He was ordained to the priesthood in the Jubilee Year of 2000 in Subiaco, Italy just outside of Rome. He has served in many missions in the Society of Our Lady including Nairobi in Kenya, in England in the U.K. and Papua New Guinea. Fr. Scott has ministered in a wide range of ministries and apostolates such as working with street children and in slum areas in Kenya, prison ministry, youth ministry, novice master, spiritual formation, pastor, retreat director, vocations director, leading pilgrimages to Medjugorje, Rome and the Holy Land and healing and deliverance ministry. He has also served at St. Ann’s Mission and St. Michael’s Catholic Church on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in Belcourt, North Dakota. He was recently the parish priest at one of the SOLT missions in Hythe, Kent in England where he served for 3 ½ years. He is now the priest chaplain for the SOLT community along with Our Lady’s Montessori School in Kansas City.

In regards to retreats, Fr. Scott specialized in healing retreats through the Eucharist and contemplative prayer. He has given a retreat to the Conventual Friars of Renewal (CFR’s) for the United Kingdom region, mission retreat at Divine Mercy parish in Kenner, Louisiana just outside of New Orleans, a Healing and Forgiveness Retreat in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tent of the Meeting Retreats which focus on encounters with Our Lord through contemplative prayer given in Holywell, Wales, Craig Lodge Family House of Prayer in Dalmally, Scotland, at Cold Ash Retreat Centre in Cold Ash, England, at theSisters of St. Francis Retreat Center in Independence, Missouri and also at St. Gertrude’s Parish in Mora, New Mexico.
